Catoctin Mountain Park, Reconstruct/Resurface Park Central Road
HLS performed a survey to verify and establish survey control and then performed a topographic survey of the 3.7-mile mountain park road located within Catoctin Mountain Park.
MDOT Maryland Port Administration
HLS regularly performs surveys and construction related engineering services at the MDOT Maryland Port Administration (MPA).
MDOT SHA Area-wide TMDL Design-Build
HLS provided topographic surveys and prepared a survey base plan, property mosaic, and right-of-way work map in accordance with MDOT SHA survey performance specifications in 2019.
McKeldin Plaza – Baltimore, MD
HLS performed topographic survey for redesign of plaza area and prepared the base plan for design work for this Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, Inc. project.
Live Green Landscape Associates, LLC
Hanover Land Services, Inc. performed the survey stakeout for the construction of the ever expanding corporate headquarters located along Route 140 in Baltimore County, Maryland.
MDOT SHA Survey Services – Various Contracts Statewide
HLS serves as a WBE/DBE subcontractor on various SHA Open End Survey contracts.
ALTA Surveys – Maryland & Pennsylvania
HLS performs many ALTA Surveys as requested by the client or a lending institution. The following is a list of recent ALTA surveys performed by HLS.
MDOT MTA On-Call Surveying and Engineering Services
HLS provided Land Surveying and Civil Engineering support on this open-end contract. The services were provided by coordinating through the prime contract Joint Venture.
PennDOT District 8-0, Engineering and Environmental Open End
HLS performed topographic and existing conditions surveys to support Preliminary Engineering for SR 869, Sections 006/007, and prepared existing conditions plans and existing roadway cross sections.
MDOT SHA Full Delivery Stream Restoration Services
HLS conducted field surveys and office computations to perform boundary and topographic surveys and prepare existing conditions maps for 4 streams totaling approximately 37,500 LF in Carroll, Baltimore, and Anne Arundel Counties.

Delta Utilities Surveys – Baltimore County, MD
Hanover Land Services, Inc. works with Delta Utility Services, Inc. to perform stakeout services related to various BGE substation upgrades in the Baltimore area. HLS crews have worked at sites that include improvement of existing active BGE substations and new sections of existing substations.
Maryland Public Health Lab – Baltimore, MD
The Maryland Public Health Laboratory building is part of the East Baltimore Development Inc. redevelopment project in downtown Baltimore. The Health Lab project consisted of the construction of a four story building adjacent to Johns Hopkins Hospital. HLS participation with this project included the following:
East Baltimore Community School – Baltimore, MD
The East Baltimore Community School, located at 2100 Ashland Avenue in east Baltimore, Maryland opened in 2015. This project consisted of the demolition of an entire block of row homes that were be replaced with a new school building. HLS participation with this project included the following:
USDA NRCS in Pennsylvania, Legal Boundary Surveys – Statewide
