HLS accepts resumes for the following positions on an on-going basis.
Ten or more years of experience with various types of field surveys, data processing and computations. Prior experience as a crew chief and with survey computations and in either AutoCAD or MicroStation is required. Top Con GPS and Carlson Survey experience is a plus.
Civil Engineer/Project Designer
5 years of site plan and subdivision plan experience required. Experience should include stormwater management, NPDES and sediment control plans and permitting, roadway, storm drainage, water and sewer design. This position requires proficiency in AutoCad. A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Planning or Environmental Science is preferred.
Civil Engineer with a minimum ten years of site and subdivision plan design experience. Knowledge of the plan approval and permitting process required. An ideal candidate will have experience supervising a design team and good communication skills.
AutoCAD/Civil Engineering Technician
One or more years of experience in drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation for civil engineering (or knowledge from course work), site civil grading plans, and/or surveying projects. Candidates must have proficient verbal and written communication skills, excellent computer skills, a strong work ethic, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
Survey Party Chief
Experience party chief with 10 years of property line, topographic and stakeout experience required.
Survey Instrument Man/Rodman
Will train a conscientious ambitious individual for this position. Some survey experience is a plus. A valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and a high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
