Jabez Branch Watershed Assessment

HLS is contracted to assess the Jabez Branch Watershed to determine the cause of the reduction in native brook trout population. Our Environmental team set up monitoring stations to capture changes in water temperature and streambank erosion which can both affect the brook trout’s environment. Once data collection is complete, HLS will submit a stream assessment report that includes baseline site conditions, geomorphic data, analysis of data, comparison of baseline conditions and conditions after monitoring, and recommendations for improvements based on the data collected.
