Stormwater Management Facility and Stream Restoration Design, Hampstead Valley 4

Stormwater Management Facility and Stream Restoration Design, Hampstead Valley 4

The goal of the project is to design and construct a stormwater management facility with a stable receiving stream to meet the requirements of Carroll County’s NPDES permit. HLS is preparing the concept design phase to restore approximately four hundred (400) linear feet (LF) of a degraded perennial stream from a constructed 24-inch RCP outfall to an existing culvert. The concept design phase includes a geomorphic survey and BANCS Analysis of approximately nine hundred (900) LF of existing stream, including a Wolman pebble count, impervious area crediting for stream restoration, preparation of concept plans, and preparation of the stream design report. Report also includes Wasteload Allocation Credit calculations.
